I don't want government in space
We elect government to rule a specific region

they have no right to be an unelected body that claim outer space.
it is up to we the people to establish a new form of government when we visit Mars and other terrestrial planets.

I love these sorts of videos for a vastly different reason than the majority of people, whereas the majority are simply consuming for entertainment I take notes and study. The specific businesses that are interviewed for most are cool concepts, for me it’s a unique insight into a business where I study their specific strengths and weaknesses and take notes on if/how I can improve their standard. It’s come to the point where I have numerous concepts and models of rocket engines, fuel delivery, aeronautical efficient designs, telecommunications concepts, observational improvements, energy efficiency, universe exploration, literally anything space/technology/physics/chemical/etc I probably have a theoretical concept or research model on it. The human brain is far to valuable to become complacent in the herd, science is not a political ideology for the collective morality of society, scientific philosophy of questioning everything and always remaining humble is what makes humans unique.. otherwise humanity is doomed to perpetually make the same mistakes history has taught us, the founding fathers of America understood this perpetual humility of humanity thus we were created for individual liberty and yet we appear to have forgotten this in modern society in favor of nihilism and defeatism.

I'm not sure about all that you said in this article. You neglect to take into account the "invisible hand" theory which given a critical mass of activity in an area, innovations arise and these tend to be from the private sector. Sure Government spearheads radical new areas, but the internet is an example of innovations existing and breeding without Government.

At around 07:40, you said they can receive a GigaByte of information a second, this is incorrect as shortly after it is said that they receive a GigaBit a second. Difference seems minuscule, but a GigaBit is an eight of a GigaByte.

A constellation on Mars could map and reveal a lot about be it's resources, that could transelate to a money making industries, as soon as we figure out the habitat, the transportation, and other logistics.

Jesus Christ Neil DeGrasse Tyson is one of the biggest morons you can imagine. He is comparing ignoring Earth's problems and escaping into space, with people in caves (with "cave" problems) not wanting to explore mountains.

And then he goes on to say how Earth is this insignificant "speck" orbiting around an irrelevant star, our Sun. Guess what, this Earth is all we have at this point and our appreciation for it seems to be near zero. It is not insignificant for us and such verbiage serves only the purpose of alienating people even more so from this beautiful, fantastic home we have.

Where does Tyson suggest we move onto anyway? To the many hospitable planets we've found in our near vicinity? Oh right, we haven't found any, because they are all completely uninhabitable for humans and devoid of the exuberant biological, physical life that Earth has. Does he propose terraforming these planets? Something that would take ages and would cost enormous amounts of money, using up an insane amount of manpower and energy from the Earth itself? Yes, let's do that, while completely ignoring the myriads of environmental and societal problems we still have on this planet. Jesus Christ, some people...

This Bend Over Production says that man has gone outside of earth's atmosphere, but shadow discrepancies in the alleged moon landing photos prove that to be a lie. I used to believe in Apollo, but now I know its just a myth. Only the gullible take the establishment at its word. To make it appear to be without the gravity effect, they use at least one method such as a plane moving at a certain angle and speed as I have seen, or magnets I read. For the former case, see the youtube video "OK Go Upside Down & Inside Out."

On the contrary, Science began with observations of the Stars and worked from there inward. The last matters to come under scientific observation were human affairs. It is my observation that the key to the newness of modern science was it's insistence on testing theories by direct confrontation with reality. Checking them by observing and measuring the data they were supposed to explain. Before then, theories have been tested chiefly by discussion and argument.

I'll name a problem that can be solved. With enough test flights, we can go to Mars. This will 1) allow people to go to space to seek fortune, 2) solve several recourse issues, including food (assuming everyone there survives long enough), and 3) could solve the overpopulation issue with private spaceflight.

Better still - put a 1 per cent tax on these activities to fund space exploration.
