Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Have you ever used a Kelly diamond? Perfect for quickly burying your debris. You can bury stuff in a big hurry, I really wish you could demo one and show people, what an amazing piece of equipment it is. We pulled a forty footer at eleven miles per hour with a 310R.

My God nowadays machinery is so computerized for almost every task that farming/ harvesting with is darn near easy for any inspiring up n coming fresh farmer to operate, and that includes every day road vehicles. My grandfather in the late 80's had the newest Deutz 4wd cabed tractor which I thought was sooo awesome at the time, and an old bailer just to harvest hay to feed his 28 cows, and 2 vicious bulls that I was not allowed anywhere near. Anyways the way things are going it seems that pretty much anyone that has common sense can operate, and utilize farming equipment these days. I guess stay with the flow, or get left behind right?
I guess it ultimately comes down to ease, and set it n forget it vs old reliability n confidence in yourself and your machinery. Either way you still have to double check everything before you use it, and while you use it...electronic controls, failsafes, and computer functions now-a-days are a curse plus a benefit to find out a problem quicker...yet electronic parts are more costly when they fail vs old school machinery which if you have the know how is cheaper. Also more reliable...case in point....your grain/soy bean head that your having so much trouble with...J.S.
